After we designed an advanced version vehicle for Santa, we also designed another traditional version vehicle, the carrier train.

The first full-scale working railway steam locomotive was built in the United Kingdom in 1804 by Richard Trevithick, a British engineer born in Cornwall. This used high-pressure steam to drive the engine by one power stroke. And train is one of the most important transportation until now.

Our life just like the journey of train, there will be passenger boarding and leaving at each stop, we will never be sure who is the one stay on train until the last stop, but the most important is our experiences that we learn at each stop, which will be stayed in our memory, therefore living in the moment and appreciate what we have.

We have released a new bead, Carrier Train, this bead have a functional rotating wheel with ringing bell and it is now available on the web, this carrier train will help you to carry a bracelet of your bead collection, which full with your memory.

Who doesn’t want to have more time spend with their loved ones during festival? So does Santa Claus.

Due to globalization, our Santa and his reindeer workload has increased year over year, Santa delivery coverage is wider now. Though Christmas gifts delivery is Santa’s responsibility, we think he also needs to have well time spend with his family, therefore The Palace Of Amber helped Santa to redesign his delivery vehicle, by replacing reindeer with more powerful engine and we named it Rocket Sleigh, so that he can speed up his delivery latency and complete his important once a year task quickly, then return home earlier for family gathering.

And we have this Rocket Sleigh ready for purchase at our website, we also wish to have a rocket speed delivery on our bead mails to all our friends, who purchase from us. After all, we would like to send our respect to who needs to be on duty during festivals like our responsible Santa.

Quasar is originated as quasi-stellar [star-like] radio source, they were first identified during 1950s, it is one of the astronomy discovery during 1950s, it is an astronomically-puzzling object.

Discovery of quasar is just one of the astronomy discovery, and there is still a lot of unknown objects in this universe, this make us realized that how small we are when live within this universe and there will be a lot of explorations for new discovery.

The Palace Of Amber has a new glass bead released to our website, we named it quasar, mixing of black, light blue and sky blue, with some gold dust spread within the bead, this is just miniature of our beautiful and unknown swirling universe.

Soon Northern Hemisphere has entered to mid Fall, and there is about a month and half, we will greet the winter. 

For the people from tropical, winter always full with fantasy, all these because of snow, because we couldn’t experience snow here, even it is so called as winter season. But we are so lucky as travel makes easy nowadays, we could travel to far fantasy land to experience snow. Our TPOA designer’s first snow experience is at her 20 years old, everyone would able to imagine her happiness (or craziness :)) at that moment.

This year, The Palace Of Amber has designed Icy Snowflake to join our winter beads release, the center bead is made of faceted white crystal and encased with snowflake, we have three different end cap designs for snowflake, it will be mixed and matched with faceted white crystal. And we have this Icy Snowflake available on our website for selection.

Light show from Gold Rutilated Quartz

Actually, we quite enjoyed  with watching the light show from different stone, we like to take their video with this form, so that we can see the stones reflect the sunlight to the background scene, we can see the light keep moving when the stone be rotated, that is some kind of delight.

Pumpkin Cottage

It’s October now, when we march toward to mid fall, it’s about time for pumpkin harvesting, and that’s the time we will see a lot of pumpkins all around. That’s why pumpkin always is the main fruit to be used for decorating during Halloween.

And if there is a Pumpkin Cottage, who will stay inside it? Is he a hobbit? A fairy? Or even an elf? It is out of our imagination to create our own story for this little cottage.

The Palace Of Amber will release our Pumpkin Cottage during this pumpkin harvesting season, it is a house designed in pumpkin shape, our door comes with latch, so it can be opened and closed on your preference. Along our Pumpkin Cottage’s wall, you will see some flower climb over vines to the top of cottage, this design idea is actually inspired from a flower house located in South Kensington, London, wisteria is blossoming in May and climbing all the way up to second floor windows of that house. There might not be logic for a May spring flowers blooming coexist with pumpkin harvesting month, however if you believe in fairytale, there is nothing impossible, and our pumpkin cottage will definitely tell you some beautiful story.

Sunrise and sunset always is the most beautiful scenery in a day, they are the biggest change of the day, switching the day between bright and dark, paint the cloud with multiple colours, these are the moments photographers love the most, because they can capture astounding moment of the day.

The Palace Of Amber has inspired from the beautiful scenery of afterglow and design this glass bead, afterglow, the bead contains a miniature of afterglow sky view, with multiple colors of purplish, pinkish, brownish and orange, together with some silver dust particles scattering over the bead.
