Oriental Lion
Oriental Lion played a role like a guardian for building in China, it is made of stone and be called as Stone Lion, they can be found at the entrance of palaces, Imperial tombs, temples and homes of government officials and the wealthy. Originally, there was no lion existed in China, but they are introduced after Han dynasty as a result of cultural exchanges through Silk Road, they had been offered as a tribute to Han Empire, and since then lion appeared as auspicious feature in China.
Oriental Lion from The Palace Of Amber is designed from this Stone Lion, the lion is made of 925 silver and holding a labradorite ball with its left leg, there is a 14k gold bell just hang in front of it chest, the bead is just represented as a mini Oriental Lion that we see in architecture and it is weighted around 8g.
Tropical Ocean
When was your last vacation? Will tropical ocean one of your favorite spot?
Tropical oceans encircle Earth in an equatorial band between the Tropic of Cancer (23.5° North latitude) and the Tropic of Capricorn (23.5° South latitude). The weather there was warm all over the year, soft and white sandy beach, deep blue sea, if you are visiting to an island which surrounded with coral reef around tropical ocean area, snorkeling or even diving will be the most fantastic activity there.
Swimming in tropical ocean, you may find a lot of species living under it, beautiful coral, colorful fish, and even baby shark will be really close to you, this make me remember my long lost vacation to Maldives, which was such a relaxing and enjoyable moment that I ever had and still wished to visit for one more time.

Bulan
“That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind” ~ Neil Armstrong
When does these words said? These was from Neil Armstrong when he first landed onto the Moon on 20 July 1969, and that’s really a giant leap for our history. And, this year is 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing, we human still feel proud of the moment that happened half of century ago.
When Google created a video to memorize 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing and human over the world celebrate this historical moment, The Palace Of Amber also designed a bead on this memorable day on Moon Landing, and we named this bead as “Bulan”. Bulan is a word from Malay, which mean moon.
The bead is made of 925 silver which looks like a moon, and there will be 4 pearls randomly attached to moon crater, and we have pearls with five colors, white, pink, purple, peacock and light gold, they will be randomly pick to attach to Bulan. So for the customer who placed an order of Bulan, it will be like a lucky draw, you will only know what are the pearl you will get on your order received.

Panda Yuan Yuan set
What does “Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan” mean in Chinese? That means reunion, a good meaning for everyone long lost contact relationship. And these beautiful names are given to two pandas, they origin from Si Chuan, China, and later on be transferred to Taipei Zoo in Taiwan on 23 December 2008 as a gift. Until now, tourists still can visit Panda Tuan Tuan and Panda Yuan Yuan in Taipei Zoo.
The Palace Of Amber’s Panda Yuan Yuan is made from agate, the panda’s face are detail etched on the stone with cameo effect, you may clearly see detail emotion of Yuan Yuan on the stone. Who will be the person achieve the final success? It will be the one with fortitude spirit.
As many knows, The Palace Of Amber has released a new bead named fortitude early this year, it is inspired from a leave fell from a plant that the designer didn’t expect it would grow, however it grew with some roots after a few day, this explains the fortitude of life.
And now we upgrade our Fortitude silver bead to solid 14k gold bead and we have limited stock of it, to promote our fortitude spirit to everyone. Without fortitude, people will give up easily and stop trying, but that is the survival skill everyone most needed, the darkest night always proceed to dawn, only the one who is brave to deal with pain and difficulty will achieve the final success.
The Carp Leaping Over the Dragon’s Gate
New bead coming for July is [the carp leaping over the dragon’s gate] According to Chinese mythology, the Dragon’s Gate is located at the top of a waterfall cascading from a legendary mountain. Many carp swim upstream against the river’s strong current, but few are capable or brave enough for the final leap over the waterfall. If a carp successfully makes the jump, it is transformed into a powerful dragon. A Chinese dragon’s large, conspicuous scales indicate its origin from a carp. The Chinese dragon has long been an auspicious symbol of great and benevolent, magical power.
The image of a carp jumping over Dragon’s Gate is an old and enduring Chinese cultural symbol for courage, perseverance, and accomplishment. Historically, the dragon was the exclusive symbol of the emperor of China and the five-character expression, Liyu Tiao Long Men, was originally used as a metaphor for a person’s success in passing very difficult imperial examinations, required for entry into imperial administrative service. To this day, when a student from a remote country village passes the rigorous national university examination,friends and family proudly refer to the “Liyu Tiao Long Men.” More generally, the expression is used to communicate that if a person works hard and diligently, success will one day be achieved.
